What if you just got less email to start with? Way less email?
Think about it this way. If you were trying to lose weight, which would be more successful: executing a pantry-management strategy to eat less cookies, or not buying the cookies in the first place?
It IS possible to drastically cut down the amount of email that you receive -- so much so that "managing email" ceases to be a problem that you need to solve. Here's how I've done it, and how you can do the same:
